Type of Clothing:
Wear clothes that you're comfortable in and flatter your body shape, if you hate your arms then avoid short sleeve tops.Don't pick very loose fitting clothes, as these will hide any curves you have, also avoid anything that will show multiple straps as this can look untidy. The time of year will influenece what you wear. Autumn and Winter wear light layers, especially if we are outdoors, you want to be able to add or remove layers easily, also this will give you more possiblities. Avoid bulky coats etc. Footwear. In the studio I think bare feet is best. However should you like your socks on keep them darker & plain. Outdoor sessions avoid unapporipte footwear, such as tilleto heels in a woodland setting won't work. Colours:
The biigest piece of advice is to avoid logos and clothing with graphic printed images. Talk to your family and decide on a colour pallette, this way you won't clash with each other.
Whatever colour pallete, keep it simple, too many busy colours will draw the eye away from the main focus of the image, you or your family. Try to keep patterns mimial, lots of differnt patterns in one photo could clash ansd be over fussy.
Where are the Photos going:
Think about where you are putting the images. Large statement images can compliment a rooms decor or clash. Keep your clothing neautral or go for a similar pallette.
